The Ramon F. Villavicencio AFSC Center for Innovation and Technology is a new academic landmark currently under development at the University of St. La Salle’s Granada Campus in Bacolod City, Philippines. It is named in honor of Br. Ramon “Chito” F. Villavicencio, AFSC, in recognition of his significant contributions and lifelong commitment to expanding access to quality Lasallian education.
This three-storey facility is designed to serve as a hub for creative learning, research, and collaboration, specifically tailored to meet the evolving educational needs of students in science, technology, and innovation fields. It aims to provide an environment where students can engage in hands-on experimentation, interdisciplinary inquiry, and practical application of technological concepts within a faith-based Lasallian educational framework
The center’s establishment reflects USLS’s strategic vision of enhancing academic offerings and strengthening its capacity to support technology-oriented programs. Once operational, it is expected to house key programs such as the College of Computing and Technology-related courses, creating an integrated academic facility that fosters innovation and prepares students for future careers in the digital and technological sectors.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the facility was held in December 2025, marking a significant milestone in the Granada Campus’s development as a major education and innovation hub
