The George Ty Advance Instrumentation Building, also known as the “Clean Building,” is purposefully designed to cater to sensitive equipment and facilitate scientific research testing. At present, it hosts cutting-edge laboratories and specialized dust-free rooms, enabling precise experiments and tests. As an essential component of the University’s engineering programs, the building plays a crucial role in fostering innovation and technological advancement.
Drawing inspiration from the elegant DNA strand, the Clean Building’s façade will showcase distinctive “barcode-like” vertical sunshades, adding a touch of sophistication to the architectural design. Demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, the project incorporates climate-conscious features by maximizing natural daylight to reduce energy consumption and employing energy-efficient lighting and mechanical fixtures. This approach not only creates a conducive environment for research but also reflects the institution’s dedication to environmentally responsible practices.
